I wanted to talk about Twins Day and multiple days. It is a celebration that is connection to identity, it's a beautiful bond with twins, multiples, whether you're a twin, you're raising twins, or you always have been fascinated by the idea of people sharing life side by side. So this episode is for you. So let's get into it. First, I want to give a shout out to all of my amazing teachers, professors. If you teach online, virtual, remote, it is awesome to be you. And everyone listening today, just give a shout out to teachers. Who is your favorite teacher? In the Twinsburg community, they have Twins Day. The upcoming event is 2026 and will be held August 7th through the 9th. And it makes the 51st year of the event. And again, it will be in August of next year, Twinsburg, Ohio. And it is the largest gathering for twins and multiples and open to the public. And you can register for this event. With the Double Take Parade, you will have twins and multiples from all over the globe. And it's held in Twinsburg. This actually started in 1976, and it attracts thousands of twins, multiples, triplets from around the world. It has a parade, you have contests, they have studies that show entertainment and a lot of photo opportunities. It can be a reunion, an opportunity. So with the twin celebrations, you will have some schools and workplaces that will host the twin days, and you have the opportunity to dress up like your friend. And it's the opportunity to share the theme, create activity and bonding, and you have a chance to volunteer for the event. And if you've never heard of Twins Day, let me paint a picture for you. So it's every year in Twinsburg, Ohio, thousands of twins and multiples. They gather from all over the world. It's the largest celebrations of twins everywhere. So imagine walking down the street with your face you see and another face that looks like you. They have matching outfits, laughing energy. It is just a joyful event and so surreal. So remind you of how powerful human communication can be. But twins, they just don't look alike. It's about the belonging and celebrating the bond that starts from birth and lasts through a lifetime. So let me share with you my information regarding the twins. So when I go out there, it is amazing for me. I can see everyone dressed up with their outfits, thousands of twins and multiples from all over the world. It's a large event. So I like to hear the twins' different stories. Sometimes they finish each other's sentences, where they live, if they live apart, they can feel each other's emotions. Twins, they definitely dress alike or multiples, and they just have some fun stories regarding their identities. If they mix them up, make good fun, tell a joke, or play a joke on someone. It is just awesome, and it will be a great experience for the whole family. And if you've ever been to the Twin Day, really share with me your favorite part of it. But beyond the fun, that's really something deeper about it. They have a powerful connection, and it makes you think about people in your own way that can be maybe your twin. So those ones who really get you, who support you, who walk with you with your time of joy and grief. And if you don't have a twin, just think about it. And with the twin relationships, they have a special bond, they can really shape each other. And as I watch the twins and multiples of all ages, from newborns to seniors, I keep thinking about relationships and how they shape us, how they grow because of the people that stand beside us, and really what twins day celebrates, not only just biology, but a sense of belonging. So whether you're a twin or not, I hope today's episode reminds you of the power and connection, the people who you walk with, who hang who makes you laugh, who you can cry on your shoulders, and they are your support team and twins.
