Ready to trade vague motivation for a clear, usable compass? We walk through how to craft a personal mission statement that honors your healing, names your values, and turns everyday choices into steps toward a life you actually want to live. Drawing from Rise Again: Transforming Grief into Purpose and Passion, we show how pain can become direction, not a dead end, and why a single honest sentence can steady you when life tilts. We start with values that don’t crack under pressure—compassion, resilience, honesty, growth, faith, service—and translate them into actions you can see and measure. Then we bring grief into the light, recasting lessons from loss as strengths that shape your legacy. You’ll hear simple, adaptable examples and a clean formula you can copy: “My mission is to [action] by [values] so I can [impact].” We talk practically: where to place your statement so it nudges you, how to use it as a daily affirmation, and when to revise as you evolve. We also open the workbook for hands-on prompts—reflect on what you stand for when life gets hard, define the impact you want at home, in community, and in your profession, and write a fill‑in‑the‑blank draft you can refine this week. If you’ve felt stuck between who you were and who you’re becoming, this conversation offers structure, language, and gentle courage to move. Grab your copy of the book and workbook from our site, Amazon, Walmart, or Barnes & Noble, and come write your mission statement with us. You can get it on my website, Amazon, or Walmart. It is in stores in Barnes and Noble. If they don't have it, you can ask them to order it.

Hello and welcome back to the Motivational Fuel podcast. I am your host, Wondra. So with the podcast, we have some weekly dose of inspiration, empowerment, and some real talk. You can follow me on my social media platforms, and I hope you subscribe to my podcast so you can get your weekly updates. I have a YouTube channel, and I'm really grateful for everyone being here. It really brings me joy. If you don't know, my name is Wondra. I'm the founder of Inspire and Drive LLC, and I'm a firm believer in motivation from within. With my podcast, we want to uplift each other regarding strength and clarity and purpose. So the topics that share within the podcast is love, health, self-care, lifestyle, finances, personal growth, and spirituality. Along with my listeners, I really hope that we can share stories with each other, help you rise again, and really take that time to reset and refocus on yourself and really take that time for yourself so you are able to take care of you. So I want you to grab a cup of coffee or some tea. I love tea, which is awesome. But take a deep breath and less fuel your drive from the inside out. So, with the podcast for today, we're continuing to talk about my new book, Bestseller Rise Again: Transforming Grief into Purpose and Passion. And you can get it on my website at Amazon. I am in the local bookstores. You can go in and ask for it, Rise Again, the book and the workbook. But with this week, we're going to talk about chapter nine. But before we get into chapter nine, I want to give a shout out to anyone celebrating a birthday or anniversary for the month of March. Woohoo! Congratulations, enjoy it. Make sure you take that time to and celebrate because this is for you for this month of March. With this weekend and the some states, we will be springing forward, so really set your time, get your rest, maybe get into bed a little bit early so you can spring forward and be prepared for that new u hour that we're going to lose for the weekend spring forward. But chapter nine, your mission statement. So, as we've been getting through the I do start off with some three essential messages, and this is for if you couldn't get through the book, you just wanted to read it , the messages before you dive into it. But really crafting your mission statement, a journey of purpose and impact, really defining your purpose, crafting a mission statement, identifying your values, your purpose, with your guiding compass for your life, reflecting on what it stands for, the legacy you wish to leave, and you can create that clear foundation with your goals and honoring your healing journey, acknowledging the pain that you've transformed into your strength, your personal experiences with grief and healing, and you serve as a powerful motivator to help others, really reinforcing your journey that is not personal, but it's also about making it impactful, and really embodying that bold pursuit of your future, think about what you want to do, what you want to become, your positive impacts. And with chapter 9, it starts on page 79 of the book, so you can really dive into it, and with the creating your community, your profession, and your mission statement should reflect not only your aspirations but also intentionally actions that you want to take to achieve them. Chapter 9 really, that rise again, healing, hope, and the power within your mission statement can be very powerful, an invitation for everyone to define their mission statement, their declaration, rooting and healing, and values, and future intentions. And this is just a guide for you so you can write your mission statement. So, why is a mission statement? Why does it matter? It's just a personal statement, motivational phase, it encompasses, it really helps you to stay grounded in your goals, navigating that grief and healing with clarity, making intentional choices aligned with your future goals, reaffirming your worth, your daily purpose. So the stealth step to crafting your mission statement, really reflecting on your goals, with your core values, asking yourself, your principles, guiding your decisions, what do you stand for? Even when your life gets hard, what kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? And some examples: compassion, resilience, honesty, growth, faith, and service, earnering your healing growth, the pain that transforms to your strength, lessons that you've learned over time, and how you want to help others. And this just says a step for recasting your pain into purpose, as I noted throughout the book, and really envision your future intentions, which would be awesome. And with the and then also just think about the what kind of person do you want to become, what impact you want to make in your family, community, or your profession and your dreams, and let these intentions be very bold and feel tender. Write it out. My mission statement is to action by the value of the principle so I can make that impactful goal. Some examples, my mission statements to lift uplift others by sharing my story with honesty and grace so I can inspire and heal and hope others. My mission statements can live in courage and compassion, transforming my grief into a legacy of love and service, and tips to make it stick, make it really visible, make it where you can see it. Put it on your refrigerator, on your mirror,, just the way that you can see it, and you can make sure that it is visible to you. Say it loud, use it as your daily affirmation, revisit it, revise it, and I know it can really evolve with you over time. For me, one of my long-term goals of becoming a doctor, putting that on my name and really enjoying it. I do have my mission statement that's in my book, and I really want others to really take heed to it, you know, really make sure that you take that time out for yourself and really encourage yourself because you can do it. It is no right or wrong way, it's no, if you're older, you're younger, just really make sure that you do it. But I can just share like a snippet of it, but I leave with purpose, I serve with my heart, and I rise with intention because my journey is not just mine, it's a path for others to follow, and your story matters, and you can use the workbook that's coming up to help you out too. Now, before we get into the workbook, the next chapter we will get to is the chapter 10, The Power from Within. So, with the chapter 9, it starts on page 39, and your mission statement worksheet reflect on your goals, your decisions, what do you stand for when life gets hard, your legacy you want to leave behind, and really take that time to write it out. You have some pages here where you can honor your healing, your journey, your lessons from grief, envision your future. Write it out so you can make sure that you see it every day, and you can make sure that it is for you. You have a ton of pages in here. I have it where you can fill in the blank mission statement. I am committed to, I believe, my mission is to, I will serve your true values, and you can fill in the blank mission statement. And I do have another example that is in the workbook that you can work on, and you do have some space that's here also, but you are claiming your independence, and you have the motivation and the support within you. So once you come to completing the worksheet, you can take that moment to reflect on your journey, your aspirations, and your mission statement is a powerful guiding tool to your life. And once again, for chapter 10 of the workbook, The Power Within, you will have time to write and reflect on the your mission statement because it is about you and really making you better. So, with the podcast, we will go over the next chapter. I hope you have a copy of my book, which is the best seller. You can get it on my website, Amazon, Walmart. It is in stores in Barnes and Noble. If they don't have it, you can reach out to like them to get you a copy.
