We start by naming what change actually feels like—tight chest, buzzing nerves, a tug you keep rationalizing away—and then get practical. You’ll hear how to build a support team of three people who make you braver, what to ask of them, and why accountability works best when it’s specific and kind. We bring in the “mirror question” (What do you want?) and explore how answers can show up as a pulse, not a paragraph. From there, we ground courage with believable, actionable affirmations, pairing each phrase with a tiny step to create momentum you can trust.

Next, we map goals that align with real life: one measurable outcome and a trio of repeatable process habits. You’ll learn to track emotions alongside progress to spot patterns, celebrate micro‑wins to fuel consistency, and use curiosity as a strategy for growth—choosing skills that make this season lighter, whether that’s boundary language, budgeting basics, or a creative practice that restores energy. We also preview the Chapter 10 workbook prompts: list your goals, name your supporters, identify emotions, plan your celebrations, and write a brief reflection that ties your intentions together. Every tool aims at one outcome—helping you start before you’re ready and become as you go.

Hello, and welcome back to the Motivation Fuel Podcast, your weekly dose of inspiration, empowerment, and real talk. With this podcast, I hope you can get some things that can uplift you if you need to find your purpose and your clarity. And I hope you can reset, you can rise and refocus on yourself, both professionally and personally. So grab your cup of coffee, your favorite cup of tea, take a deep breath, and let's drive this from the inside out. So with this week, we're going to talk about chapter 10 of my new book, Bestseller Rise Again, Transforming Grief into Purpose and Passion. And I do want to give a shout out to my small businesses out there. Really make sure you go out and support them in your local community, your LLCs, really support them. And I know today is the 13th of Friday, so you know, be careful out there if you're really superstitious about it. Really take that time for you. So, with chapter 10, the power within, I want you to embrace your change, taking that leap into your next next chapter of your life. So, we want to kick off this chapter. We're starting, stop, begin a new chapter in your life. Really seek your support team. Look at yourself because it's time. You feel it before you name it, the crying tension that's in your chest, that releasing the energy in your bones, so that's shifting. You're unsure about beginning, the end, or both, but it is that time now. So I know you probably danced around it for weeks, maybe even years, making excuses, dressing is up as logic. Maybe you call it bad timing, lack of resources, emotional fatigue. But deep down, you know, you've always known the real obstacle is yourself. So, and you've been waiting for someone to say go, go for a sign, a green light, a perfect plan, but life doesn't hand out permission slips, it just hands you choices. So now you are here, something new. That weight pressing up against your skin, the fear, excitement, the unknown is really tangled up in threads that you haven't moving yet. So, think about your support team. The ones that haven't given up on you, and the ones that saw the light, even when you try to dam it, their voices echo in your head. You're stronger than what you think, you don't have to do it alone. You made you're made for this, and that's your accountability team, your accountability for yourself. You walk to the mirror, not for just self-importance, for truth. You stare into your eyes and you ask the question that you've been avoiding. What do you want? The answer doesn't have to come in words, it can come in feeling, a pulse, a fire. You want to begin, you want to stop shrinking, so you want to rise, so you do. So, in my becoming a new year in 30 days, I do have some positive affirmations that's about yourself, you're a confident individual. I am proud of myself, you know, a really highly adaptable person who to really thrive. My creativity, the time where I'm beautiful, I'm successful, you know, I can't do it. You want to turn that to I can say some positive things to yourself so you can really succeed on your goals, and really now that you have taken that breath, not because you're calm, but because you're ready. And I know you don't have all of the answers, but you don't need to have all of them, you can have something better, the power within, and that's really just enough for you. So taking that time out to say your powerful affirmations and really enjoying the time because it is the power that is for you. So with the book,, with the book, chapter 10 did start on page 85. I'm not sure if I mentioned that, but I'll transition over to the workbook for chapter 10, but the upcoming chapter, I will share my story in chapter 11 of the my book, Rise Again. Now with the chapter 11, that is in the workbook, but with chapter 10, the power within the change and growth worksheet, really embracing that change or positivity, the change in your life, what emotions that you experience, celebrate the excitement and the positivity and the potential with this that has changed. So, really taking that time, and really your support system. You know, think about it and a lot of people don't. What are your goals for this news chapter? Maybe three people who can support you when you're transitioning, and how can they help? So, those three names: your goals, your support system, you know, your family, your friends, those ones that you can pick up the phone and send a text to or call them, and you just really laugh, and you know they're gonna be a breath of fresh air for you. Practice self-compassion and celebrate the achievements. Identify some emotions they may have you feeling with this transition, and how can you be gentle with yourself? Three accomplishments, big or small, that you want to celebrate your emotions and achievements, and tips for navigating change, staying open-minded. Like, what are you curious about for this phase of your life? Write down these skills or experiences that you hope to gain, your curiosities, and with chapter 10 of the workbook, it's on page 45, and like I said, you do have a chance to write down some things for yourself, and really, you know, back to your goals. What are some intentions? You know, building that support system. You have your support system one, two, and three. You can write down on page 48. Practice self, you know, compassion, some positive affirmations to remind you to be kind and gentle to yourself and celebrate every success. How would you celebrate your achievements? Maybe you know, one thing that you did, pat yourself on the back, you know, think about that, and then your final reflections. Look at your responses. How does acknowledging your emotions and setting goals and celebrating success make you feel about your new chapter of your life and your reflection? And remember, each step forward is an important part of your journey to rejoice and embrace the possibilities ahead. So make sure you have that time to enjoy it and enjoy life, you know.
